Creature House Expression was a vector graphics editor initially developed by Creature House in tandem with Fractal Design Corporation and later MetaCreations as a companion to Painter. At the time, Creature House was an independent Hong Kong software studio.
Saw this at techbargains.com yesterday - Microsoft is allowing free downloading of a vector based drawing program - Expressions3. It is a 60mb file. One reviewer gave it 4.5 of 5 stars and said the following: Expression was the first graphics program to allow users to create brush strokes from arbitrary pictures, and remains the most artistically-oriented vector-based drawing package available. Microsoft acquired Creature House in 2003, after this review was written. Here's the download link Has anyone had any experience with this program? Downloading now. I think I used this years ago - wasn't this a MetaCreations (or Fractal Design?) product first?

Expression 3 is a fabulous program. It was developed in Hong Kong and then went to Metacreations who didn't do much with it. The original creators regained control and came out with versions 2 and 3. The name of the company was Creature House. It is a fabulous program and did sell for around $150. Samsung composite usb driver 4 34 whql download. Those of us, including many professional illustrators, who used the program shuttered when MS purchased it.
It is certainly worth the download time and space and will probably not remain free. At first MS offered the free download only in Japanese but perhaps they are now offering the English version.
