Nope.no Hawaii 'need' here. I am waiting for them to release thier already in-progress and announced for 2012 'Northern California.' As far as flying from the mainland to Hawaii that's a lot of ocean.what could ORBX do to enhace that long boring stretch? I mean where's the enhanced terrain? I am biased as I live inthe western US and 'need' southern Oregon which i hope will be a bonus included in the Northern California ORBX release. Ashland, Oregon.I'm on my way BACK to you!!
Hard to beat the Rogue Valley.Hary and David's extra fancy and extra juicy pears are grown there exclusively. Photoscenery removes most of that, I not only fly forward but also backward, sideways, straight up and straight down and many times I just sit there just touching the tops of the trees with one of tires of the particular aircraft I’m in. Just watched your video.exactly which 'tire' was 'touching the tops of the trees'?Rockinrobin: I fly more than one type of helicopter the video you saw was with the default Bell206B, I chose this particular video for its location not the aircraft, it is on skids but if you want to see one with landing gears here is one with them (see below text), although there are no trees in this video. Not every flight I do is recorded. But most are done on ORBX scenery, borrowing a quote from another member “Fly nothing but ORBX, life’s to short for default scenery” I can not remember which one of our members wrote it but his quote stuck with me. He is correct on his statement.

Anyway to get back on subject here is the list from ORBX of there to do projects for the near future. Hawaii is not on there short list. They may get to it in the future. They are aware of this poll and several members of the ORBX forum are monitoring its tally to see what people are saying and how they feel.
This is a direct quote from: John Venema ORBX CEO 'Orbx expansion plans and roadmap May 2012' 'So what is is store for you this year? Essentially, we'll continue to drip-feed product release information and only show screenshots and videos of products which are late alpha or in beta. We will only update the website with new product pages as they enter mid-beta cycle.
This means that we can generate excitement around products which are real, in production, and not too far from being released. That said, I know many of you are anxiously awaiting an idea of what we are working on, so let me list you the products which are currently in development.
Remember, this is just a list of what is currently being worked on - there are no release dates around any of these, nor will any of our staff give you estimates or timeframes. This is just what is being worked on by our staff worldwide.
